Amazing Weekend Break
My partner and I stayed here over New Years Eve with our young dog. The room was beautiful, exceptionally Clean and Very large and comfortable bed. The bathroom had all possible toiletries you would need and of VERY good quality and brands. We also had a Large wardrobe, Table, small fridge and television. Dog bags, treats and towel were also left in our room.

Breakfast was amazing - Cooked to perfection. Home made sausages and fresh farm eggs. Excellent choices on menu and very helpful staff. There is a local pub a 5 minute drive away that are also Dog friendly (The Half Moon) - Very good food and friendly staff.

The hosts were very friendly and always there to answer any questions and guidance on good dog walks. I would highly recommend if you want a quite weekend away, with good long walks and a quality B&B. THANK YOU

A Top Place To Stay
A fantastic place to stay, the room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and everyone there was so friendly with great suggestions of what to do and where to eat in the area. We couldn\'t have chose a better place to stay for our trip.

Could Not Have Been Better!!
This is as good a bed and breakfast venue as we have ever stayed at. The accomodation behind one\'s own front door was superb; immaculately appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was first rate and very filling. Highly recommended to anyone who particularly prefers a farm-based B&B. Dave and Gill Peregrine. Stratford-upon-Avon

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal - North Yorkshire - Castle

Distance 2.56 miles (4.09 km)
Fountains Abbey has been described as the crown and glory of all that monasticism has left us in England. There are 800 years of history to be explored in the 320-hectare (790-acre) estate, a World Heritage Site combining architecture and landscape of outstanding historical and aesthetic importance. The ruins of the Cistercian abbey, which was founded in 1132, are the largest such remains in Europe and provide a dramatic focal point for the landscape garden, which was laid out during the first half of the 18th century by John Aislabie. Fountains Mill, one of Europes oldest surviving mills, once supplied the monks of Fountains Abbey with flour for baking. It has now been in continuous use for more than 800 years.
